You’re the expert. Another reason why blogging is a good idea is because it gives you the opportunity to talk about something which you’re (hopefully) knowledgeable about. Let’s face it, people like to listen to people who know their onions. If you’re trying to become a ballet dancer, would you take ballet lessons from a mechanic? I think not! So, it is with blogging. You’re most likely to attract readers and potential customers who already have an interest in your subject. It does make a difference because it’s easier to convert these people into customers.
No need to learn HTML – This means you can build your website even if you do not have a background on HTML, though HTML knowledge is a plus. Web building is easier if you use software because it already has a built-in Html coding. No more hassle in learning HTML codes and programs.
Cost – This is of course an important factor for many people. There are many different types of web design software available ranging from free open-source applications through packages of more than $ 500. If you just make a simple website that is not necessary to spend much money on software, an inexpensive option will suffice.
Third, focus on your web site’s main goal. Do not get so caught up in the web site’s appearance or using fancy technology like Flash, audio or video, that you forget to create a site that achieves its goal. For example, if you are promoting a newsletter you will want as much content on the page, along with a highly visible way for subscribers to sign up. So many web pages try do too many things that they don’t do any of them well.
